Scarlett Moffatt has spoken out in defence of controversial Love Island star Megan Barton Hanson after a picture emerged of her before she reportedly underwent £25,00 worth of plastic surgery.
The Saturday Night Takeaway co-host pleaded with her fans to “stop bullying” the blonde beauty, after they continued to share before and after shots of the reality star on social media.
Posting a supportive message on Twitter, the Gogglebox favourite wrote to her 661,000 followers: “I’ve got to speak out! Megan looks beautiful before and after surgery.”

Begging Love Island viewers to be kinder to Wes Nelson’s flame, she added: “It’s horrendous.
“Comments like the ones I’ve seen on social media drive women to feel like they’re not good enough and make them feel they need to change themselves!
“Stop this bullying! # loveisland”.

The picture started circulating on social media just days ago, with viewers of the ITV2 show saying the 24-year-old looks “unrecognisable” and that they can’t believe it’s her.
“Megan before and after surgery literally looks like a new person,” one person wrote.
While another added: “Megan before surgery has left me lost for words !!!!!”
However, it appears that several people agreed with Scarlett as she took to Twitter, with her tweet racking up over 2,000 ‘likes’ in a matter of hours.
One fan replied: “You are so right – it is so hard to handle comments like that. I mean yes, they put themselves on a platform, but people abuse that so much and take comments way too far!”
While another added: “My thoughts exactly, I think she’s been mean but talking about her looks is so unnecessary! Xx”.
Meanwhile, Megan’s former flame Eyal Booker also spoke out in her defence after seeing the snap in question, telling heatworld: “There is definitely a before and after.
“But if you feel insecure within your body then you’re entitled to make the changes that you want to make in order to feel better”.
Speaking out in support of his former flame amid backlash, Eyal added: “Fair play if she feels better in her skin now”.
