Logan Paul is believed to have been dropped by YouTube after he shared a horrifying video of an alleged suicide victim’s dead body last year.

The American vlogger – who had over 15 million subscribers on the channel – posted the clip, which was filmed in Japan’s Aokigahara forest, on his site on New Year’s Eve.

In the snippet the online sensation can be heard laughing while describing the corpse he had stumbled across.

The shocking footage not only sparked uproar among his fanbase, but also celebrities, and the major video-sharing company.

YouTube initially issued Logan with a strike on his account.

However, the warning expired after three months, and it is only after two strikes the company revoke all privileges to the user.

Although Logan initially received just the one warning from YouTube the huge backlash he has received has since encouraged the business to put the 22-year-old actor’s projects ‘on hold’.

A statement issued by YouTube reads: “Suicide is not a joke, nor should it ever be a driving force for views.

“Additionally, we will not feature Logan in season four of Foursome and his new Originals are on hold.”

Logan’s projects which have been halted for the time being also include his science fiction movie titled The Thinning: New World Order, which was a follow-up to his 2016 release.

Logan has apologised for the harrowing upload, which he has put down to having ‘great power’ and using his status ‘incorrectly’.

And he has insisted he will never make the error again.
