Ant McPartlin’s estranged wife Lisa Armstrong openly supported Demi Lovato on Twitter, following the troubled singer’s suspected overdose.
The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist “liked” a tweet that praised Demi’s battle with sobriety.
The tweet said: “Reminder that Demi Lovato spent 6 six years of being sober. 6 years of sobriety regardless of 1 relapse is incredible N shows A LOT of strength.
“Some people don’t realize addiction is almost, if not, a disease. No matter how many years go by, the struggle is still strong. She’s strong.”
Lisa’s support comes after reports that former Disney star Demi was found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home after a suspected drug overdose.
The singer was taken to a medical centre in Los Angeles and has been surrounded by her family and friends, including her ex-boyfriend of six years Wilmer Valderrama, since.

According to People, Demi’s ex Valderrama “wasn’t aware of how serious her issues were” and is “heartbroken” about the situation.
Demi rose to fame on Disney Channel’s Camp Rock in 2008, having previously starred on Barney & Friends alongside Selena Gomez as a child.
The singer has been open about her addictions in the past, admitting herself to a treatment centre in 2010 at the age of 18.
After six years of sobriety, she revealed that she had relapsed in her new song, Sober, which came out in June.
In her emotional single, she confessed: “To the ones who never left me, we’ve been down this road before, I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore.
“And I’m sorry for the fans I lost who watched me fall again, I wanna be a role model but I’m only human.”
