Lisa Armstrong was rumoured to have “fallen out” with Declan Donnelly and his wife Ali Astall weeks ago, amid claims the couple sided with Ant McPartlin following the pair’s divorce announcement.
But Lisa has now taken to Twitter to seemingly show Dec – and the public – that there are no hard feelings between the pair, sharing with her followers that the she and the 41-year-old comedian are still pals.
Referencing his and Ant’s own World Cup single We’re On The Ball, Dec wrote to the pair’s 6.86 million followers: “Oof! #WorldCup2018 #England #WereOnTheBall #ItsCominHome.”
And giving her seal of approval to the message, Lisa herself decided to hit the like button in front of all her followers.
Dec is reported to have reached out to Lisa himself recently, following reports Ant has moved on with his personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbet.
According to The Sun, the Saturday Night Takeaway host sent Lisa a supportive text message as the news emerged, which simply read: “You know where I am if you need to talk. Be strong.”

An insider also told the publication that Dec had been feeling “torn” since Ant’s split.
They said: “He is best friends with Ant. Theirs is like a marriage. But he also feels for Lisa and what she’s going through.
“He doesn’t know what to do for the best. He’s not been in contact with Lisa since she and Ant split but decided he had to reach out after The Sun on Sunday revealed Ant’s new romance.”
It was previously reported that the Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist had fallen out with Dec and Ali after the reports of Ant’s rumoured romance came to light.
A source told The Sun: “After knowing each other for so long Lisa felt that everyone had become friends in their own right – but obviously after what has gone on the divided loyalties have become obvious.
“She’s really put out that Dec and Ali have totally sided with Ant over all of this. Even though Ant and Dec have always been best mates, she thought they would still remain close even after the split.
“In the end that just hasn’t happened – Lisa feels she’s been isolated by their former friendship circle and is pretty angry and upset about it.”
