Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West already have children North, four, and two year-old son Saint together, but are expanding their brood further.

It has been reported the couple’s surrogate, who is pregnant with their third child, is due to go into labour very soon.

A source close to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star told The Sun Online: “Kim’s surrogate is due to give birth any day now.”

With the birth of their baby drawing near, the pair – who married in 2014 – are on call and are ready to rush to the hospital at any moment to meet the new addition to their family as soon as their surrogate gives birth.

The insider added: “Kim and Kanye are ready to rush to the hospital.”

But the beauty mogul and the Famous hitmaker are waiting in anticipation for the moment they get the call to meet their little one.

“They’re hardly sleeping because they’re on high alert – at any moment they might have to drop everything and rush to the hospital,” the source said. “But it’s a tense time.”

Although the duo are having sleepless nights, they are “excited” to meet their baby.

“They’re both excited. They can’t wait to meet their new baby.”

Kim decided to have a baby via a surrogate after she suffered a string of life-threatening conditions after her first pregnancy, including pre-eclampsia.

The condition resulting in high blood pressure and protein in your urine, which constructs blood vessels and reduces blood flow – as well as placenta accrete, which is when the placenta grows deeply into the uterine wall and runs a major risk to the mother and the foetus.
