Kerry Katona has admitted she begged her ex-husband Brian McFadden to rekindle their romance the “night before” she was due to marry Mark Croft in 2007.
The Atomic Kitten band member – who has daughters Molly, 16, and Lilly-Sue, 14, with the former Westlife band member – ended her four-year marriage with the 37-year-old singer in 2006.
Shortly after the Tide is High hitmaker separated from the singer she sparked up a romance with Mark.
But Kerry had doubts about tying the knot with her second husband – who have 10-year-old Heidi, and nine-year-old Maxwell together – in 2007, as she was still hung up on Brian.
As Kerry still had feelings for her former spouse, she made one final attempt before walking down the aisle to woo her ex.
Speaking to Reveal magazine, she said: “I was devastated when we split up. The night before Mark proposed I was on the phone to Brian begging him to take me back.”

“He was the love of my life, Brian. I’m not going to deny it.
“It was the first time I had a baby with somebody, the first time I got married. It’s all the firsts.”
But Brian – who was married to Vogue Williams for three years until 2015 – did not take Kerry up on her offer of reuniting and has since slammed her.
Kerry split from Mark three years later in 2011 and found love with her now estranged partner George Kay, with who she has three-year-old Dylan-Jorge.
But unlucky in love Kerry is embroiled in another divorce, and has reportedly been asked to hand over “£20,000 a month” to George for maintenance as he wants the legal battle with over with as soon as possible.
A statement previously read: “He sincerely hopes that this difficult process will be concluded solely through legal channels and in as dignified a manner as possible.”
