The spat began when Chris Hughes posted a series of “flirty” messages from Katie on Twitter, publicly asking her to leave him and girlfriend Olivia Attwood alone.
Chris has since maintained that he never replied to any of Katie Price’s messages, however the Loose Women panellist later showed the “52 texts” that she claims she received from him to The Sun.
He later hit back at Katie following the news, branding her a “rotten piece of s**t” in a now-deleted Twitter post, and claiming he “couldn’t give a f**k” about Katie.
Now, Katie has claimed that a ‘pal’ of the Love Island star has messaged her, alleging Chris had “bragged to the lads” about some of the messages he sent.
According to The Sun, the messages read: “I know Chris and he’s bragged to the lads about some of the messages he’s sent you as well as you sent him, sorry he’s been a belter of a d**khead towards you!
“Don’t say I said anything though but I know he’s messaged a few different girls and Liv won’t listen.”

A representative has confirmed to OK! Online that Katie has received this message, but did not comment further. OK! Online have contacted Chris’ representatives for comment.
It comes after Katie revealed the 52 messages allegedly sent from the Love Island star – despite him continually denying he ever replied to her texts.
According to The Sun, 39 year old Katie showed off the Snapchat screenshots during her book launch on Tuesday 17 October.
In one message, 24 year old Chris is reported to have called girlfriend Olivia Attwood “fame hungry” and accused the blonde of “loving publicity”.
Another message shows him apologising to Katie for tweeting the messages, but saying that he had “no choice”. Finally, after calling the mother of five a “lovely person”, he then apparently begs her for forgiveness.
After Chris responsed on Twitter, he later deleted the post, saying: “I deleted that tweet cus it was disprespectful to younger fans with the language, but meant everything I said. Always back yourself.”
