Following Keith Chegwin’s death, the ITV stars were discussing his terminal lung condition condition, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), something the brunette beauty’s mum, Amy, also suffers from.
After the show, the 39 year old posted a photo on Instagram, showing off her new Claireabella goodies with her 1.7million followers.
“Today’s been a difficult day but thanks for everyone’s support,” she captioned the shot.
“Chilling tonight checking out all my new @claireabellaltd goodies planning all my Christmas presents.”
However, the post left fans divided as some questioned why Katie was sharing ‘sponsored’ posts on Instagram hours after breaking down.
“Today has been a bad day ? .. But still cashing in on a photo,” one wrote.

Another questioned: “So difficult your plugging claireabella?!?”
“I’m just saying if my mom was dying last thing on my mind would be posting pictures on here off other peoples stuff,” a third said.
But others rushed to defend the mum of five, explaining she is entitled to post whatever she wants on her social media page.
“She’s entitled to chill out after getting upset,” one replied. “Maybe her mum wants her to make her proud by carrying on and selling her products?.
“After all we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors or the facts for that matter so I don’t think anybody should be posting mean comments on Katie’s Instagram. If you haven’t got anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all!”
“You were amazing today and well done you for even attempting to go on loose woman, was so hard watching you hurting sending love and hugs,” an Instagram follower posted.
While a fan commented: “Stay strong @officialkatieprice my heart and thoughts are with you as are so many other people who you don’t know. We may not know you personally but we are here for you xx.”
And a fourth added: “You were so brave on @loosewomen this morning @officialkatieprice. Thinking about your mum and family at this difficult time for you all. X x x.”
