Kate Middleton arrived with Prince William at the Palladium Theatre on November 24 for the annual Royal Variety Performance.

The Duchess Of Cambridge, who is pregnant with her third child, looked breathtaking in a blue sequinned dress, showing off a hint of baby bump.

The mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte teamed the bespoke Jenny Packham gown with a clutch bag and a pair of the Queen’s diamond chandelier earrings.

However, it was the 35 year old’s shoes that left some fans concerned for the beauty.

Teaming them with her stunning outfit, the Duchess wore a pair of beautiful white high heels, believed to be by Oscar De La Renta.

However, some people were left worried for Kate over the height of the heel, and the fact she is pregnant.

One women wrote: “Those heels…Bad for pregnant women. But the dress is divine.”

Another added: “I don’t know how she manages those heels while pregnant. Whenever I was pregnant, my joints turned to jello, so kitten heels or flats it had to be!” However, she did add: “Bravo to her!”

Another fan complimented that fact Kate wore the shoes, writing: “Could never wear those shoes, kudos to Kate!!”

But according to experts, there isn’t a lot to worry about when it comes to wearing heels so early in a pregnancy.

Jutta Wohlrab, an international midwife with more than 30 years experience and author of bestselling book Happy Birthing Days: A midwife’s secret to a joyful, safe and happy birth spoke exclusively to OK! Online about the dilemma.

She explained: “High heels can be so-so in the early stages of the pregnancy.

“However later on in pregnancy when you have all of that extra weight to carry high heels can cause a lot of back ache.”

Jutta explained how the imbalance can “potentially influence the position of the baby”.

She continued: “If you are a busy entrepreneur or working woman it’s much better to find some fashionable looking shoes that support you and feel good.”

This is the first time during Kate’s third pregnancy she has opted for such a high heel, where the brunette beauty usual sticks to a kitten heel for days out in public.
