The hunky businessman was a late-arrival to the show, strutting in to the villa alongside Chris Hughes and quickly taking an interest in Camilla Thurlow.
However, after their fling went south, he quickly moved on to Tyla Carr but their romance failed to make it beyond the villa.
But Jonny – who is now dating Made In Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt – didn’t seem fazed that he left Love Island without a lady on his arm, in fact, he didn’t plan on leaving with a girlfriend at all.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Online about his new business venture BuyorSellFX, Jonny explained how he reckons no one enters Love Island to genuinely find love.
“To be totally frank, I don’t think anyone goes on that show looking for love,” he told us.
“I’m not saying I went on there for anything in particular. I went on there having not watched the show before.

“I went on there for an experience because you know it’s going to be something you’re probably not going to have a chance to do again.”
Jonny then added that this year’s contestants didn’t need the show to find a potential partner.
He continued: “But I mean you can find love anywhere, you don’t need to go on a TV show for it. All the people that went on it were nice people, all very good looking people, they don’t need to go on a TV show to find a partner.
“You have to read between the lines a little bit. I was very open to anything, I wasn’t against going on there thinking I was gonna meet someone.
“If I’d met someone then fair, but I didn’t go on there thinking ‘I need that to happen, I want that to happen’, I had a very open mind.”
Nevertheless, Jonny has landed on his feet with new girlfriend Steph, and has found success with his new business venture, BuyorSellFX, which is designed to meet the needs of people who want to trade on the foreign exchange markets but need help and guidance on what trades to take and when to take them.
