The I’m A Celebrity star has been enjoying a break in the resort of Flaine where he’s been skiing with friends.

But the holiday took a turn when former EastEnders actor Joe Swash and his pals were reportedly threatened with a knife on a night out.

Stacey Solomon’s boyfriend, who is a prominent supporter of anti-knife charities, and his group were seemingly confronted by a ‘blade-wielding thug’ outside their chalet just after 1am on Thursday morning.

The Sun On Sunday reports that the man flashed a knife at the as an argument began and police were called to the situation.

A witness told the newspaper: “It was scary. Police were called but no one was arrested or hurt.”

While Joe’s spokesman added: “They are all a little shaken up.”

Joe has previously spoken out against knife crime after his childhood friend, Ben Kinsella, was murdered in June 2008.

Ben, the younger brother of Joe’s EastEnders co-star Brooke Kinsella, was killed with a blade almost ten years ago.

After winning I’m A Celebrity in 2008, Joe donated his entire winnings to thw Ben Kinsella Trust, which was set up by Brooke and her family in memory of Ben.

He handed his over £30,000 prize cheque to the charity, calling it would “the proudest moment of my life”.

Meanwhile, Joe’s girlfriend Stacey has opened up about the “utter hell” of giving birth to her eldest son Zachary.

The Loose Women panelist, who also also five year old son Leighton, has spilled the details of her gruelling 72 hour labour.

Stacey had Zachary, now 10, when she was 17 years old and says she was “utterly unprepared” for the experience.
