Ms Dent Coad, the controversial Labour MP for Kensington, retweeted a Tweet commenting on Theresa May’s looks with the comment “love this”.
It follows a spate of offensive rants by the Leftwing parliamentarian attacking the Royal family, falsely questioning Prince Harry’s military service and writing racist remarks about a black Tory candidate.
The post Ms Dent Coad retweeted, accompanied by a picture of the Prime Minister, included a quote from the late author Roald Dahl: “If a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face. And when that person has ugly thoughts every day, every week, every year, the face gets uglier and uglier until you can hardly bear to look at it.”
Next to it was a picture of Jeremy Corbyn describing him as looking “lovely”.
The offensive post was condemned by women’s rights activist Nimco Ali wrote in response: “As someone because of her experience @emmadentcoad thinks she is speaking on behalf of, she is driving me to join the @Conservatives.
“Her hateful & divisive kind of politics are not what we need. I loved the Labour Party but it has no place for me or anyone of my generation now.”
Ms Dent Coad was earlier this month exposed for making racist remarks about a black Tory candidate Shaun Bailey who she described as a “token ghetto boy” in a blog.
The Kensington MP is known to be a close ally of Mr Corbyn and leading leftwing voice for the party in parliament.
And despite causing outrage with her “racist and misogynist” comments, the Labour leader has refused to suspend her.
Ms Dent Coad defended retweet, telling Sky News: “It’s a joke. It’s Roald Dahl. The things I’ve had thrown at me over the last five months you would not believe. I’ve four rounds of death threats. It is ugly.
“You know making a joke from a Roald Dahl thing, I think is pretty minor compared to what some people get up to every day.”
But her defence was widely lampooned.
Presenter Piers Morgan tweeted: “Female MP says she loves female PM being called very very ugly. If a male MP did this, all hell would break loose.”
Leading Tories said they were not surprised by the language of Ms Dent Coad in a party that is already beset with anti-Semitism.
Most recently, at the party conference in September, supporters of Mr Corbyn openly called for the Labour Friends of Israel and Jewish Labour Movement to be thrown out of the party.
Tory minister Brandon Lewis said: “@emmadentcoad tweet sums up the nasty steak running through Labour these days.”
Tory MP George Freeman Tweeted: “The re-appearance of misogyny & racial prejudice in Corbyn’s Labour Party isn’t a surprise – the Old Left have always been social as well as economic dinosaurs. But the Party of @RuthDavidsonMSP @theresa_may, Maggie, @Conservatives@Women2Win & @csjthinktank will take no lectures”.
