Marvel has announced the release date for the second season of its series, “Iron Fist.”
The announcement was revealed on Friday, July 19, 2018, at San Diego Comic-Con, alongside a short teaser which features Danny Rand fighting on the streets of New York City.
The series about a martial arts expert with the ability to call upon the power of the Iron Fist will return on Netflix on September 7, 2018, for a second season.
The season comes after “Defenders” – a show about four of Marvel’s biggest heroes – and the second season of “Luke Cage,” which also featured Danny Rand as a guest star.
Unlike his appearance in “Luke Cage,” the first season of “Iron Fist” wasn’t well-received by critics, who slammed the actions scenes and plot.
