Home and Away star Jessica Falkholt's sister dies three days after car crash that killed their parents — as the soap actress remains in intensive care

The sister of Australian actress Jessica Falkholt has died three days after a car crash which also killed their parents and another man.

21 year old Annabelle died in a Sydney hospital on Friday 29 December, with her boyfriend Jordan Brohier confirming the news.  

Her older sister, 28 year old Jessica who appeared on Home and Away in 2016, remains in a critical condition.

The actress – who plays Hope Morrison in the Australian – was involved in a tragic car accident on Boxing Day, which killed both her parents.

The sisters were airlifted to hospital after they were pulled from the wreckage by other brave motorists, moments before their vehicles were engulfed in flames.

Jessica is still in intensive care, surrounded by her family members.

The bodies of Jessica and Annabelle’s parents were so badly burnt in the wreckage that they had to be identified through dental records.

Police said the crash was caused by one car being on the wrong side of the road.

The driver of the other car, Craig Anthony Whitall, 50, was killed on impact in the tragic accident.

After a fellow motorist pulled Jessica and Annabelle from the wreckage, he took to Facebook to describe what had happened.

Darrin Collier described the scene as “horrific is an understatement” and that the girls’ injuries “will be something I won’t forget in a long time”.
