And the Hollyoaks actress made her return to the red carpet in style, after giving birth to son Daye.

The brunette – who plays Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 soap – looked incredible as she headed to the Inside Soap Awards, at The Hippodrome, in Leicester Square.

She opted for a long-sleeved black top for the event, with a racy cut-out panel down the front, showing off her assets.

She paired this with figure-hugging, pinstripe black trousers, and shiny black shoes.

The soap star kept her long brunette locks loose around her shoulder, and completed her look with a patterned bag.

Jennifer was joined by boyfriend Greg Lake at the awards, who looked smart in a blue velvet suit, and black tie.

This is the first outing for the couple since they welcomed son Daye together, four months ago.

But the new mum – who has been dating the Geordie Shore hunk for five years – revealed this hasn’t slowed the couple down.

When asked if the couple talk about getting married, she told Fabulous magazine: “Oh, yeah!

“We’ll probably do it like a party and be like: ‘Let’s get married next month and we’ll text our friends.’

“There will be no ring or anything.”

She also opened up about giving birth, admitting she “loved” the experience even though there were terrifying complications.

“It was such a good experience. Daye’s heartbeat dripped before I had to push him out and the cord was in a knot, but the midwives made me feel like superwoman.

“I’d do 10 labours over pregnancy again.”
