Hollyoaks star Tamara Wall, who plays Grace Black in the popular Channel 4 soap, has taken to Instagram to reveal the gorgeous news that she’s engaged to her boyfriend Gareth Jones.

The gorgeous blonde did a simple announcement on her Instagram page, posting a picture of the pair in front of a sign which read: “I said yes!”

Tamara then confirmed the news with a captioned which simply read the word “engaged”.

And fans and her co-stars couldn’t wait to congratulate the star, including Jennifer Metcalfe and Nikki Sanderson. 

Jennifer, who played Mercedes McQueen on the show, wrote: “Look at this. Congrats lovely!”

“Congratulations!!! Super happy for you both,” Nikki, who played Maxine Minniver in the long-running soap added.

Tamara, 40, had been enjoying a holiday to Ibiza with her other half amid a whirlwind romance. 

The pair have often taken to social media to gush over one another, with Tamara referring to her other half as her “soulmate”.

Fans were also elated with the incredible news, with one writing: “You’re my favourite on Hollyoaks. Mad congrats!”

“YESSSS girl!! This is absolutely amazing news! Congrats,” another gushed. 

It’s a far cry from her relationship on the show – where her character Grace is currently living with Glenn Donovan, a man who murdered her brother Adam.

He was previously mentally abusive towards Grace, including spitting at her and belittling her.
