Gogglebox sisters Izzi and Ellie Warner reveal they both have secret boyfriends – and why they won’t be appearing on the Channel 4 show

The sisters, Izzi and Ellie Warner, are both in relationships with mystery men.

But the reality TV stars revealed that Gogglebox viewers won’t be catching a glimpse of their boyfriend’s on-screen anytime soon. 

“We’ve both got boyfriends,” they told The Sun. “They’re in hiding, they let us have the limelight.”

The duo attended the National Television Awards on behalf of the Channel 4 programme, to collect the gong for Best Factual Entertainment Show.

Mingling with stars such as Holly Willoughby and Suranne Jones, they revealed how they were feeling admitting: “We’re starstruck by everybody.

“We’ll just go with the flow. We’ve never been before so we don’t know what happens.”

The sisters, from Leeds, took to the stage after Doctor Foster actress Suranne announced they had won they award.

Collecting it on behalf of their colleagues, they said: “This is absolutely amazing and its a fabulous opportunity to be here and I’d just like to say thank you to the NTAs for having us, and a massive thank you to everybody who has voted.

“It’s the fourth year in a row that we’ve won so it’s a real privilege. Everybody puts so much hard work into it and we just want to say thank you and this is on behalf of everybody.”

They also paid tribute to Leon Bernicoff who sadly died in December 2017. 

He passed away at the age of 83 following a short bout of sickness just days before Christmas, with Channel 4 confirming the news in a statement.

“We’d like to dedicate this award to Leon and June,” they said.
