The Hollyoaks star’s loyal friend, Jay Roberts, sparked a Twitter row after her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell was sent to Cardiff prison.
Stephanie Davis’ pal was desperate to air his fury on the social media site following the news the father of her baby son Caleb had skipped probation and jetted to Turkey for new teeth and hair.
Jeremy was sentenced to 18 weeks in a Welsh jail and following the verdict, Jay – who is the child’s godfather – posted: “It was always going to happen. Absolute d*******”
But some of his 2.2k followers shot back at Jay and asked whether he would be so brave to wade in if Jeremy wasn’t locked up behind bars.
One said: “And he’ll always be Caben’s father whether you like it or not.
“When he grows up he’ll be calling him Dad and you’ll be just that wet lettuce lurking in the background.”

Another said: “Easy to call someone a ‘d*******’ when they’re in prison. The question is would you say it to his face?”.
Jeremy was jailed after breaching his community service order, after her received a suspended sentence for being found guilty of attacking the mother of his child.
The 29 year old Irishman was originally sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to carry out 200 hours of community service for attacking the Hollyoaks star.
Judge D J Williams, speaking via video link from Liverpool Magistrates Court, said: “After trial I convicted you of a vicious alcohol-fueled attack on your partner and the mother of your child.
“I was anxious to protect other women from your violence in future, so I gave you a suspended sentence with rehabilitation requirements. Your solicitor said it would be unjust to activate that sentence.
“I sentence you to 18 weeks of imprisonment out of the original 20.”
Jeremy is said to be determined to appeal the sentence – but his friends fear he may have to face his whole sentence behind bars in Cardiff.
