Ferne McCann’s ex-boyfriend has been sentenced to 20 years in jail and handed an extended licence of five years after being convicted last month of five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and nine of actual bodily harm, after throwing acid into a crowd at Mangle nightclub in east London.
The Only Way Is Essex star Ferne only recently gave birth to the pair’s baby, Sunday, who she vows to raise by herself.
And it seems one of her biggest struggles is thinking about how she’ll tell baby Sunday about the attack in future.
“It does enter my mind, and I find that quite difficult,” she told Fabulous magazine. “I do wonder how difficult it’s going to be.
“But I need to enjoy her for now, because what’s the point in thinking say, four years ahead? I’m going to be in a complete different mind space.
“I’m probably not going to be living in the same place place, who knows. Life is so uncertain – I can’t plan how I’m going to do that when I’m nowhere near that point.”

And through everything, it seems Ferne just wants to do what is best for her little girl – who she said she is so “grateful and blessed” to be mother to.
She added: “What is important now is to enjoy her, learn how to be a mum and concentrate on Sunday, rather than dwelling on how I’m going to broach this in the future.”
Collins was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court in London, where his trial was held.
He previously admitted to throwing the liquid in the nightclub on Easter weekend in April, but claims he didn’t know that it was acid.
Last month, new mum Ferne revealed she had taken her newborn Sunday to meet her father in jail, saying: “This is the last time you will see either of us.”
