England vs Nigeria: All you need to know, probable starting XI, TV schedule

Nigeria will continue their preparation for this year’s World Cup in Russia, with a friendly match against the three lions of England this Saturday.

The game will be played at the Wembley Stadium in England.

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has already cut down his provisional squad for this summer’s tournament from 30 to 25 players.

Rohr’s men head into this clash following their 1-1 draw with the Democratic Republic of Congo on Monday evening at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Nigeria and England have faced each other twice: the two teams drew 0-0 at the 2002 World Cup, while the Three Lions won a friendly 1-0 back in 1994.

Kick-off is 5.15pm and the game is expected to be shown on SuperSports.

Nigeria potential starting XI: Uzoho; Shehu, Troost-Ekong, Balogun, Echiejile; Mikel Obi, Etebo, Onazi; Victor Moses, Iwobi, Ighalo
