Roxanne Pallett shocked the nation after alleging Ryan Thomas “punched her like a boxer would punch a bag” during their time on Celebrity Big Brother.
Since leaving the famous Channel 5 house, Roxanne decided to apologise for her allegations, admitting she “got it wrong” in TV interviews with both Jeremy Vine and Emma Willis.
But it hasn’t stopped other soap stars from coming forward to share their opinions on Roxanne.
Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter, who worked with Roxanne before the CBB star left in 2008, has come forward to have her view on the incident, claiming something similar happened over a decade ago.
“Just watched last nights #cbb …. it’s like watching a throwback to 12 years or so ago !!!!! She said she’s never had a soap award …. give the girl an Oscar !!!!! WTAF !!!!and the vote off ????? well done , she’s off the scale !!!! Thank god people are finally seeing,” she wrote to her 256, 000 followers.
She also thanked Denise Welch for slamming Roxanne live on Loose Women for her actions, after the panellist got into a heated discussion where she raged over the incident without holding back.
Roxanne’s representative declined to comment when approached by OK! Online.
Speaking on Jeremy Vine’s new Channel 5 show, Roxanne explained that she had looked back at footage of the “punch” as soon as she left the house.
She told the host: “At the time it hurt, but when I look back on the footage, I got it wrong.”
“My mind ran away with me. I am a sensitive person. My friends and family can vouch for that.
“In the house everything becomes so heightened, a look, a comment, an action. Your insecurities are heightened.”
She continued: “I massively apologise to Ryan, his family, his fans – every single person who saw an overreaction to what wasn’t a malicious act.”
