Big Brother presenter Emma Willis shares three children with her husband, 35 year old Busted singer Matt Willis, Isabelle, nine, Ace, seven, and two year old, Trixie-Grace. 

Emma, 42, suffered a traumatic delivery with her oldest child Isabelle, being rushed to theatre for a forceps delivery after a long labour. 

The painful experience left the TV favourite unable to properly sit down for 12 weeks and made her opt for caesareans when welcoming her two younger children.

Emma revealed that she relived the experience during the making of her new TV documentary, Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, in which she worked in a maternity ward for 10 weeks.

Speaking to the You magazine, she said: “One minute I was standing in this operating theatre completely transfixed.

“Next thing I knew I was coming round having hit the deck, a row of blue hospital Crocs slowing coming into focus.

“I tried to make excuses afterwards, “Ooh, it’s a bit hot in here,” but I’m sure it was a deep response to what I’d been through.”

“I wanted to understand and witness what I’d been through – knowledge is power – but the subconscious reaction of my body was total horror.”

In Emma’s new show, she will work eight to 13 hour shifts alongside midwives at the Princess of Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex. 

Viewers will see the mum of three cleaning beds, taking blood, making tea and mopping up.

Emma Willis: Delivering Babies starts on Monday 22 October on W Channel.
