The TV star has become a father for the third time, after his wife gave birth to twins on Thursday 28 September.
And in a tweet posted the same evening, he revealed a picture of his wife Renee O’Brien with their new bundles of joy.
Ross revealed the names of his twin girls, saying: “Mum, Ava and Kitty doing well! Dad overjoyed.
“Thanks to all at the hospital!”.
He had previously tweeted hinting that he had become a father again just hours before.
Sharing a picture of himself beaming while wearing scrubs in the delivery room, the EastEnders star wrote: “BIG THANKS to Lawrence Impey and his team. Very happy Dad again!”

Fans rushed to congratulate the star on the family’s new arrival, with one follower writing: “Ahh your face says it all, Congratulations.”
The actor is already a father of two sons and is married to wife Renee.
The pair married in 2012 and kept their first pregnancy in 2015 a secret until their son happily arrived in April.
Taking to Twitter at the time he wrote: “What a day! Mum and baby doing well, Dad very proud!
“8lbs 7oz, born at 10.54am. Happy boy, asleep already!”
Ross, who played Grant Mitchell in EastEnders, has another son from a previous relationship with ex partner Nicola Coleman.
