EastEnders star Jonny Labey, who played Paul Coker in the BBC soap before exiting in 2016, broke the incredible news he was engaged to his girlfriend Chrissy Brooke with an emotional Instagram post.
Alongside a picture of the duo beaming together, he wrote: “She said YES… a while back!
“It was obvious from the moment we met, she’s the perfect balance of kind, beautiful and crazy that I’ll love for the rest of my life!
“I love you @chrissy_brooke Here’s to many more years…”
Jonny’s character on EastEnders, Paul Coker, was killed off in an explosive storyline two years ago.
He then appeared on the TV show Dance Dance Dance, which sees celebrities pair up with a friend or family member and perform iconic dance routines in front of a panel of judges.

Since leaving Albert Square, he has gone on to judge CBBC talent show Taking The Next Step.
The actor currently stars in Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom the Musical as Scott Hastings, alongside Chrissy, who plays Muriel Shunt, and former Strictly Come Dancing star Will Young.
He previously opened up on how he didn’t want to leave Eastenders, saying: “It wasn’t my choice, but I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason.
“Like any other job, it’s always about the bigger picture and all you can do, is do the part justice.”
