Wilmer Valderrama “hasn’t left” his ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato’s side since her suspected overdose, according to reports.

Demi was rushed to hospital on 24 July after being found unconscious, but is now “awake and responsive.”

That ‘70s Show star Wilmer dated the Skyscraper singer for six years from 2010 before their split in 2016.

It is now being reported that the actor has been constantly visiting his ex since her ordeal.

The Blast reports that “Wilmer is one of the only people who has been around her, besides her mom.”

Sources tell the publication that the former couple have “a beautiful friendship” and that Wilmer “has remained such a great support to her.”

Wilmer was first spotted at the hospital that Demi is being treated at on Wednesday, the day air she was admitted. 

TMZ also reports that he returned on Thursday, staying by her side for five hours.

A source told People magazine: “He saw her through so many ups and downs and was her rock through some of her darkest moments.

“To see her back in such a sad and vulnerable place is heartbreaking for him.”

In a 2015 interview with Huff Post, Demi noted that Wilmer was to thank for her sobriety, adding that she wouldn’t be alive without him.  

“I wanted to give him a lot of credit that he never takes,” she began. “He’ll never take credit for a lot of my sobriety and my recovery but I guarantee it that I wouldn’t be alive without him today.”
