It has now been announced that the remaining eight shows of the nine-month long jaunt have been cancelled.
Demi was scheduled to play shows in Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Brazil between September and November.
A statement from Chile’s Movistar Arena, where the star was due to perform on 14 November, translates to: “Demi Lovato has cancelled her ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ Tour in South America and is focusing on her recovery.

Demi’s 26 July show in Atlantic City, United States was also cancelled as she was hospitalised two days before.
The former Disney Channel star’s last UK performance took place at London’s O2 Arena on 25 June.
However, the rescheduled show was shroud in controversy after her 10 June performance was cancelled just hours before Demi was due on stage.
