Ant McPartlin confirmed that he was splitting from his wife of 11 years on Sunday, saying it was a difficult time for both himself and Lisa.
And Ant’s best friend and TV partner Dec reportedly feels “very much torn” between the pair after they confirmed their split.
A source told The Mirror: “Dec will always stand by Ant, but over the years he has, naturally, become very good friends with Lisa, and his wife, Ali, is also very close to her.
“He feels very much torn and it’s a tremendously difficult situation for all concerned.”
It was also claimed that Dec’s wife of two years, Ali Astall, has become a “shoulder to cry on for Lisa”.
OK! Online has contacted a representative for Declan Donnelly for comment.

It’s reported that Ant, 42, could hand over £31million of his fortune when he officially separates from his wife Lisa, 41.
The I’m A Celebrity presenter is reportedly prepared to part with the huge sum to end their marriage on good terms.
“He is happy to give Lisa 50 per cent in the divorce if that is what is agreed by their lawyers,” an insider told The Sun.
In his divorce announcement, a spokesperson for Declan Donnelly’s best friend told The Sun on Sunday: “In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.
“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families. No further statement will be made.”
Ant and Lisa are said to be coming face-to-face for the first time since the divorce announcement during Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Liverpool, with Lisa working as a makeup artist on the show.
