Dec Donnelly looked happier than ever as he stepped out for the first time since confirming he’s expecting a baby with wife Ali Astall.
The Saturday Night Takeaway presenter took to social media yesterday to confirm rumours that his wife of two years is pregnant with their first baby.
And stepping out this afternoon, Ant McPartlin’s best friend looked overjoyed as he left his house in an all-black suit paired with a designer backpack.
Smiling from ear-to-ear the 42-year-old seemed delighted over the recent baby news, despite a week of drama surrounding presenting partner Ant McPartlin, who was charged with drink-driving on Wednesday.
Writing on Twitter yesterday, Declan Donnelly confirmed the news and thanked his fans for their well wishes this weekend as he confirmed reports that Ali is pregnant.
Along a stunning picture of himself and Ali on their wedding day, Dec wrote: “Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages.

“The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child. Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it D x.”
The couple who married in 2015 reportedly shared the news with Dec’s best friend Ant McPartlin before he checked back into rehab this week.
It’s thought that Ali fell pregnant shortly after Dec left the Australian jungle in December 2017 after the latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
A source close to the pair told The Sun: “This has come at a difficult time for them both, given everything that Ant is now going through and the pressure that has put on Dec in the past week.
“But their priority now is their baby and an experience that they see as the best of their lives. Dec and Ali are both absolutely delighted to be expecting, especially as they have been trying for some time. They have both always wanted a family but worried that it might not happen for them.
“They have been keeping the pregnancy a closely guarded secret, but now that Ali is safely over 12 weeks, they are starting to let people know.”
