The couple have called time on their relationship, after a 17 year marriage.

A spokesman for the Big Brother presenter confirmed the news to OK! Online, sharing a statement which read: “I am very sad to say that Matthew and I have separated.

“Our amazing children are our number one priority, above everything else so therefore we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible while our family goes through this difficult time.”

The Million Pound Drop host shared a cryptic quote post on Instagram, hinting at their split.

The quote, shared to her 734k followers, read: “Every morning we get a chance to be different. A chance to change.

“A chance to be better. Your past is your past. Leave it there. Get on with the future part.”

Davina and Matt tied the knot back in 2000, in a ceremony at Easton Castle, in Hertfordshire.

The pair, who have two daughters and a son together, renewed their wedding vows two years ago, during a trip to Las Vegas.

Speaking to The Sun, the Big Brother presenter previously opened up about their relationship, and admitted there had been ‘hard’ times.

“Times have been hard. Oh my god, when you have little kids and everyone’s arguing over who’s more tired…,” she explained.

“Life gets really full-on when you’ve got kids… I think we’re really committed to staying together and we’re solid.”
