The Love Island hunk, who only recently split with Amber after just months together, broke up amicably with a mutually respectful statement last year.
But after Kem started getting close to good friend Scarlett Moffatt, Amber herself decided to fuel speculation they were dating online – replying to a fan who suggested there was something going on between the two with: “You said it.”
Now, Kem Cetinay has exclusively revealed to OK! Online that it is painful to hear comments made by his former flame – as he attempts to focus all his energy on Dancing On Ice.
When asked if the comments upset him, he exclusively told OK! Online: “Yeah of course, it’s my first relationship so it’s all new to me going through a breakup, and there’s a lot I could say on what’s been reported but some things should stay private.”
And in response to Amber being bitter following the split, he added: “Im not exactly sure why she would feel like that to be honest.
“We ended on good terms and we’ve supported each other since we split and been mature about the situation. I’m a positive person and so since it happened I’ve been focusing on staying busy with Dancing on Ice and not getting drawn into whats happened in the past.”

And it seems Kem has nothing but well-wishes for his former other half, adding: “I want Amber to fulfil her dreams and ambitions – she’s a talented girl and obviously stunning too, and I know when she puts her mind to something she’s bound to be great at it.”
After Scarlett was spotted in the crowd during the launch night of Dancing On Ice, Kem Cetinay was quick to shut down speculation they’re seeing each other.
But the Love Island winner has confessed they’ve become close friends, as Scarlett offered advice to Kem after he was thrust into the spotlight on the ITV2 reality show.

Opening up about their close friendship, Kem told OK! Online they bonded over their similar banter.
He said: “Scarlett’s become a good friend of mine, we have a very similar sense of humour, even though she’s from newcastle and I’m from Essex.
“We have a similar kind of banter. She’s given me lots of great advice as it’s all new to me.”
