Jennie McAlpine’s business is over £428,000 in debt, according to reports.
The Coronation Street star opened the restaurant and tea shop, Annie’s, in Manchester in 2012.
Accounts filed to Companies House show debts of £428,658.
She opened the tearoom with husband Chris Farr, hoping to turn it into a nationwide franchise.
The pair share three year old son Albert and are currently expecting their second child.

A source told Daily Mail: “Jennie and Chris are hoping to trade their way back into profit but the margins are tight in the restaurant world and it is hard-going.
“It has always been the plan to open more than one restaurant but just getting this one firing on all cylinders financially is proving though.”
Giving a nod to her soap career, the restaurant serves Betty’s famous Rover’s Return hotpot.
The venture has received rave reviews from customers despite its debt.
Annie’s even won Best Tea Room in Greater Manchester at the Manchester Tourism Awards in 2014.
