Helen Flanagan has opened up on her experiences of breastfeeding in public on social media.
The Coronation Street star took to Instagram to describe the different ways she’s felt for feeding Delilah out in the open.
Actress Helen gave birth to her and fiancé Scott Sinclair’s second daughter Delilah on 22 June.
Helen went fresh faced as she posted a snap of herself feeding Delilah in a branch of Starbucks.
Writing to her 653,000 followers, she said: “I have found feeding Delilah while in public has been received in very different ways…
“From feeling like I should stop as I didn’t want to hear nasty comments to being completely supported by absolute strangers!”

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! competitor continued: “I feed with confidence because I am just a mum, who just wants the best for my baby girl.”
Her post came in celebration of Lansinoh, a company which Helen is ambassador for, launching their Feed with Confidence awards.
Helen said the awards “aim to recognise places and people who support breastfeeding in public.
“Every mum should feel confident breastfeeding in public no matter if it’s a café, gym or garden centre!,” she continued.
The new post comes after Helen’s previous pic of her breastfeeding Delilah at the end of June.
A five days old Delilah is seen clutching to Helen’s bare breast in the image while mum plays with eldest daughter Matilda, three.
