Coronation Street actor Daniel Brocklebank has hit out at Roxanne Pallett following her accusations against Ryan Thomas.
The Billy Mayhew star did not hold back on social media as Roxanne emotionally claimed that Ryan should be chucked out of the Elstree compound following an apparent play-fight they’d had the day before, which she branded an “assault”.
While Ryan was given a formal warning for his behaviour and told off by Big Brother, several celebrities including Lucy Mecklenburgh, Scott Thomas and Emmerdale’s Danny Miller took to social media to show their support for the Corrie star.

“Finally the general public are privy to what those of us that were unfortunate enough to work with her in the past already knew,” Daniel wrote, in a tweet which quickly racked up amost 500 retweets.
Before adding: “PS: @ryanjamesthomas is a lovely chap. #karma #CBB”.
Daniel isn’t the first soap star to hit out at Roxanne online, with Aaron Dingle actor Danny Miller also making his feelings clear online in a candid post.
Danny, who is a pal of Ryan’s, posted on Twitter: “Roxanne’s a known liar. Ryan wouldn’t harm a fly.
“Horrible, attention seeking little liar. Goes from being upset & in pain to dancing & drinking – to going bed, crying she can’t sleep in the same room as Ryan, to worrying about being nominated? You be the judge #CBB.”
The controversial incident occurred on Thursday night’s episode, when Ryan appeared to shadow box Roxanne during a conversation about washing – and she accused the Coronation Street actor of punching her “like a boxer would punch a bag”.
As Roxanne demanded to sleep in a separate room from the actor on Thursday’s show after the scenes took place, his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh also furiously hit back on social media claiming Roxanne should be removed from the Channel 5 show.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star did not hold back as her other half was called to the diary room and told off for “punching” Roxanne, asking fans to rally around him for support.
Taking to his Instagram story, Love Island star Scott Thomas – Ryan’s brother – also wrote to his 798,000 followers: “Actually fuming at what I’ve just witnessed.
“Clearly attempting to ruin my brother’s reputation over what was blatantly something harmless. Girls like Roxanne are dangerous.
“They make a mockery of actual domestic abuse victims. Be a drama queen all you want but don’t try and tarnish someone’s reputation.”
