The pregnant star was thought to be splitting with the footballer, after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he was in a car with “party girl” Laura Simpson.
But after releasing a lengthy statement saying that she is sticking by Wayne, Coleen Rooney has now shared a gorgeous picture with her other half and their children – the first time they’ve been pictured together since the drama that unfolded in the previous few months.
In a picture with her whole family, including sons Kit, Kai and Klay, Coleen wrote: “Christmas 2017!!!” – showing that the duo had their weddings rings well and truly on their hands.
It comes after Coleen wrote a massive statement regarding the state of her marriage, after she was seen on multiple occasions without her wedding ring on.
Writing to her 910k Facebook followers, her huge statement read: “Before all the stories begin, Yes, I have put my wedding ring on……. A lot of people will be saying ‘you don’t have to explain yourself, don’t feel like you have to do this’ etc,I know I don’t, but I am and I want to.
“No, I’m not taking Wayne back as he’s never left. Yes, it has been a s**t time, and yes, time was spent apart and I thought my marriage might have been at an end.”

She continued: “Wayne doesn’t get portrayed for the person he is in the press, he has always had a hard time. I’m not going to list his good qualities as a person as I don’t think he deserves it at this time but one thing is that he is a brilliant dad. He’s made silly and selfish mistakes, some he’s learnt from, some obviously not. However maybe that will change?”
Confirming her decision to stay with her other half, she added: “It’s my decision …. do I love Wayne … yes I do. If I didn’t then I wouldn’t be trying to make it work. I know I would be fine on my own, with just me and my children, but I don’t want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that’s what I want to do.
“I’m not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can be at this point, I’m not the type of person to put a show on and say we’re all loved-up….I’m just real.”
At the time of Wayne’s arrest, he was in the car with ‘party girl’ Laura Simpson – who allegedly claimed the pair “kissed and cuddled”, but later said she was “misquoted” and that nothing had happened.
Coleen added: “In life, you don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow. But one thing I do know is that too much alcohol on a night out is a dangerous and a lot of stupid mistakes are made and things are said under the influence. I would never trust ANYONE who has had a lot of alcohol, it changes some people drastically.
“I do have a private life and we are real people which is sometimes overlooked. We do have worries, troubles and obstacles in life we tackle and go through without anyone knowing and we also have fantastic fun times making memories with our loved ones without people knowing.”
