Coleen Nolan will not apologise to Kim Woodburn after their spat on Loose Women, claims her son Shane Nolan.
The singer took to social media to inform fans that his mother wouldn’t be apologising to the How Clean Is Your House favourite after they clashed on the ITV show, in scenes which racked up over 3000 Ofcom complaints.
While one viewer of the show tweeted that they were looking forward to Coleen’s apology, Shane – who earlier in the day had to apologise for calling Kim a “fruitloop” – swiftly replied that there wouldn’t be one, instead passing the blame onto the show’s producers.
“There won’t be one I don’t think,” he wrote. “She’s not on till Friday anyway.
“Kim being on was nothing to do with my mum.
“The only apology should come from the producers. Anyway I’m bored talking about the same thing. Night.”
Shane’s assurance that Coleen wouldn’t be apologising comes as Kim insisted she would stop at nothing to get his mother thrown off air, alongside her sister Linda Nolan.
Speaking about the incident, Kim told The Sun: “I was ambushed, it was disgusting. It was like a circus and I was there for some cruel entertainment. I want Coleen and her sister fired.
“They could have stopped that show. The one who had the ear mic could have stopped it. But they did nothing to curb it.
“I was shown cruelty again by that woman. I’m embarrassed once again. And I’ve cried on TV once again.”
Kim and Coleen’s bitter row ensued on the ITV show as Janet Street Porter attempted to act as judge and mediator and help the pair work out their differences.
Coleen admitted she had been two faced to Kim to try to keep peace in the Channel 5 house, but couldn’t help but quip that Kim had “come in like a demon from day one.”
She continued: “I don’t think you know how vile you are.”
Kim, who had a huge bee in her bonnet, raged back: “Don’t always believe the demure person that sits here in front of you,” before things escalated and Kim stormed off set.
