CNPP Rejects Benue Council Election Process, Demand its Annulment

The conference of Nigeria Political events (CNPP), umbrella organisation of all registered political events and associations in Nigeria, has rejected the process and whatever is the outcome of the Saturday’s native government election in the Benue State, describing it an “exceptional rape of democracy and rubbishing of every tenet of free, truthful and credible election at the native government level”.

The CNPP in a statement by its Secretary basic, Chief Willy Ezugwu, while anxious for its cancellation, seen that “the method used to be tailored by means of the Benue State impartial Electoral commission (BSIEC) and the ruling All Progressives birthday party (APC) and Governor Samuel Ortom to provide APC Chairmen in the state regardless of the individuals’s option.

“The Voters apathy marred the election in all 23 local govt Areas of Benue State on Saturday, which resulted in low turnout of voters across the state naturally indicate that the folks rejected the process and a exceptional observation that the election end result is a fraud.
