Cheryl’s best friend and former Girls Alous bandmate Kimberley Walsh has revealed how the singer is in a “good place” after her split from Liam Payne.
Cheryl and Liam announced that they had ended their relationship and vowed to focus on their one-year-old son Bear.
Opening up on the couples’ recent heartbreak Kimberley, 36, revealed that she’s supporting her friend through the difficult times.
“Cheryl’s in a really good place and we’re just helping each other through,” she told Fabulous magazine.
Kimberley, who is a mother of two boys, also revealed how Cheryl is adjusting to motherhood after announcing her split from Liam, 24.
“Bear is such a happy, content child that she must be doing something right,” she added.

“We mother quite similarly, which I think was always likely because we’re such close friends. She’s got so many nieces and nephews that it’s like she’s always done this and she’s doing really well.”
Cheryl, 35, and singer Liam took to Twitter last Sunday in joint statements to announce their breakup, after reports that the Strip That Down singer had moved out of the mansion they own in Surrey.
Posting to his 33 million Twitter followers, Liam said: “Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways.
“It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”
While Cheryl echoed his words, sharing the same message with her 6.42 million fans.
