Charlotte Crosby has hit back at claims she is a bully in a series of tearful Instagram stories after slamming Dr. Alex George online.

The Geordie Shore star attracted a lot of controversy after branding the A&E doctor a “vile pink face” on her Twitter account, with Alex’s friends even hitting out on social media and branding her a “bully”.

However, now Charlotte has responded to backlash against her, hysterically crying to her 6.3 million Instagram followers as she denied doing anything wrong, and claimed that she had over 3,000 people attacking her following her tweet.

“Right guys I wanna comment on the post that Alex or his family have put on his Instagram,” she told her fans.

“Firstly I don’t like Alex personally. I don’t like the way he treated Alexandra, and I commented on his sunburn. Now I don’t like him at the minute and I posted that as a throwaway comment.

“To comment such a jokey thing about sunburn is not serious bullying. What I do however think is really bad is that Alex or his family has then went to post this, to draw more attention to it which has then pushed people to send an influx of hate.”

With tears brimming in her eyes, Charlotte claimed that, responding to her tweet, people had sent “really nasty things,” commenting on her personal appearance and even calling her a “s**g.”

Slamming Alex’s friends, who run his account, for shaming her so publicly, Charlotte said: “I’m not just talking a couple of hundred [messages] I’m talking thousands, which is completely now going against what they stood for in the tweet and everything that they’re saying.

“It’s like okay, you wanted to get your point across, fair enough. Turn the comments off, remove the comments, because really what you’re doing now is just pushing people to bully me.”

“Your anti bullying post has actually just created a lot of bullying,” Charlotte added.

The tearful display came as Charlotte was slammed by Alex’s loved ones and several others online for a tweet she wrote, which read: “Dr Alex….WOW. I have no words for your horrendous sun burnt skin.

“AND BAD ATTITUDE, your bloody lucky to have one girl even take an interest in your wooden plank personality.

“The way you even thought you could mess poor Alexandra around makes me feel sick #VilePinkface”.

Claiming Charlotte should think more carefully about her words, the pal running Alex’s twitter page wrote: “It’s this kind of nastiness directed at people’s appearance on social media that can really affect some people psychologically. There is no excuse for it.

“Alex takes medication for his skin which he is very self conscious about. One side effect of this is photosensitivity.”

They then went on to make a much more lengthy point about the cruelty of Charlotte’s words, with many people agreeing the Geordie had taken things too far.

Speaking exclusively to OK! Online, Alex’s friends added: “We know Alex would want to raise awareness about this, and we don’t feel what she has said is acceptable.

“Where Charlotte or anyone else questioning his decisions or personality we would not take issue at all, he is in the public eye and that’s part for the course, however the attacks on essentially immutable characteristics were unfair.”
