Charlie Sloth confirmed he was no longer working at BBC Radio 1 after engaging in a foul-mouthed rant at an award show.
Charlie was due to be leaving his shows on Radio 1 and 1 Xtra, and had 10 more shows to complete, but the BBC announced on Saturday that they had now been scrapped.
In a statement, they said: “We have agreed with Charlie Sloth that he will not be presenting any further editions of The 8th and The Rap Show for Radio 1 and 1Xtra.
“New presenters will be announced for both shows in coming weeks.”
Charlie took to Twitter too, writing: “I’ve decided not to do the remaining 10 shows on the BBC that I initially agreed. I love you all. Thank you.”
The radio DJ’s decision to leave the shows comes after he caused a scene after losing out to Radio 1’s Edith Bowman and the Audio & Radio Awards in Leeds on Thursday.
Footage leaked on Twitter shows Charlie storming on stage after failing to bag the award, and telling her “f*** your life” in an angry exchange.
After the comments, Charlie was booed by the audience, before he added: “I just wanna say BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Saturday night Rap Show, f*** your life”.
While Edith Bowman did not officially respond to the incident, she tweeted Charlie the next day saying she hoped he was “feeling ok”.

He later took to social media to apologise to Edith, and tell fans that the outburst had only intended to be a joke, mimicking when Kanye West did the same thing to Taylor Swift at the MTV VMAs.
“Soooo the Arias… It was supposed to be a bit of bants with me jumping on stage, starting with me saying ‘OK ima let you finish (sic),’ he explained
“It wasn’t directed at Edith, I love Edith and like I said so does my Mum. I’ve apologised to Edith privately, I’m sorry to anyone I upset.”
OK! online have contacted Charlie’s representative for comment.
