Celebrity Big Brother star Ben Jardine, who is expecting his first child with a former girlfriend, confirmed he’s very much single after his appearance on the show – and was spotted getting incredibly cosy with Lizzie Cundy on Tuesday.
The Married at First Sight star, 36, “couldn’t keep his eyes off” the 48 year old TV personality, with a source exclusively telling OK! Online the duo even shared a KISS at the end of the evening.
“Ben and Lizzie were laughing and joking all night together,” a source exclusively told OK! Online. “They were holding hands, giggling and putting their arms round each other – he even joked he wished he’d married her.
“Before the end of the night they shared a brief peck on the lips.
“Ben seemed to make it really clear to everyone he was single, and they looked like they got on like a house on fire.”
In images obtained by OK! Online, the duo were spotted holding hands and gripping onto each other at Sam Dowler’s Book Launch Party at Karma Sanctum, looking incredibly cosy as they chatted throughout the evening.
Speaking to OK! Online, Ben confirmed he was officially single – saying “whatever will be will be” when asked if still interested in former housemate Gabby Allen, who he stated he had interest in on the show.
“You never know how things pan out,” he said. “I like Gabby, and what I’ve learned in my life is that you have to be mates before anything happens. Whatever will be will be.
OK! Online have contacted a representative for Lizzie and Ben for comment.
It comes after Ben revealed his true feelings about Roxanne Pallett – who he said he “loved” in the house – after she falsely accused Ryan Thomas of “punching her like a punchbag” during the Channel 5 show.
Ben insisted that he now felt like he didn’t know the actress following her actions on the show.
“Roxanne made a beeline for me. It was an instant connection. She was like my shadow,” he told The Sun.
“After what she’s done, I’m broken hearted. I don’t want to see her again because of all this. But I want to know who the real Roxy is.”
