While many of us spend the entire year treating ourselves to naughty junk food, Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley has revealed that she only ever breaks her diet at Christmas.

The actress – who is famed for playing Eva Price in the soap – said: “I love Christmas pudding. I don’t normally eat deserts so it’s the one time of year that I treat myself.”

Catherine, 34, is now a fit and healthy size 10 but has battled her weight in the past – admitting she reached a size 22 at just 18-years old.

Asked what other naughty treat she allows herself, the actress – who now follows a healthy diet and works out regularly to maintain her slender frame – told the Mail Online said pizza was her ultimate temptation.

“I’d have pizza because I’d still want to treat myself and I love pizza,” she said.

“My favourite topping would be meat feast, the whole hog. If I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it well.”
