The 28-year-old Love Island beauty has been forced to confront mean trolls who targeted her body shape.
Cara De La Hoyde shared a lengthy post on her social media expressing the importance of being body confident following a week of seeing a flood of “negativity” online.
And discussing the changes her body has gone through over the past nine months, she said: “I’ve got more stretch marks, cellulite and lumps where they weren’t before, but I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.
“Women are beautiful no matter the size shape or colour. Imperfections are what make us, us! So [middle finger to] the haters & trolls, start to (love) you for you. Remember you are unique.”
She continued: “For all you negative Nora’s commenting, I just wanted to promote some happiness.”
Her Love Island ex Nathan Massey will stay with Cara “a few nights a week” after their baby is born, after the couple split in March.

Cara said: “There are no plans to get back together right now, but he’ll stay over for a few nights a week when the baby arrives.
“We’d both be gutted if one of us started dating someone new – I always think of him as ‘my Nathan’ but we’re happy as we are and we get on brilliantly.”
The pair got together last year and are keen to do a reality show about their journey as new parents and their on/off relationship, because Cara thinks viewers would find their non “picture perfect” life interesting and relatable.
She said to Closer magazine: “I think a lot of couples would be able to relate to us as we’re so normal. I don’t have the ideal, picture-perfect family, but I’ve always wanted to be a mum so it feels like a dream come true.
“Of course I wish things were different – I grew up watching Disney films and thought I’d be married with kids, but nowadays it’ not uncommon to come from a broken family and there’s no stigma in being a single mum. I look at girls like Amy [Childs] and Ferne [McCann] and they’re fine my themselves.”
