The Love Island winners split earlier this year, but reunited shortly before the arrival of their first child – who they have named Freddie-George De La Hoyde Massey.
Eagle-eyed fans of the pair believed the couple had become engaged after Nathan Massey posted a picture of Cara in hospital during labour.
Brunette beauty Cara De La Hoyde could be seen wearing a large sparkling ring on her finger on her left hand.
And now, in an exclusive new interview with OK! Magazine, the pair opened up about their relationship, with Cara also revealing why she wears the ring from Nathan on her wedding finger.
Cara denied that the ring means that they are engaged, but confirmed that it does have a very special meaning as it has the name of her son on it.
Cara said: “I have been wearing this ring for months and it has the baby’s initials ‘FG’ on it.”

“We knew his name for four or five months. We’re not engaged so I wear his name on my ring finger as he’s my little man.”
Nathan and Cara said that they are now concentrating on being first-time parents, as well as making time for their relationship.
Cara said of their reconciliation: “We said if it’s meant to be, we’ll get back together. We always said we wouldn’t get back together just because of the baby. It had to be right.

“There was a lot of sneaking around and saying we weren’t together, but we just wanted to be sure before we said anything.”
Meanwhile Nathan said: “I grew closer to Cara watching her go through labour. It was such a good experience.”
And Cara stated: “We’re back together and Freddie-George has completed us.”
