You can boost your omega-3 intake by eating more oily fish, including salmon and mackerel.
“People with back pain need higher doses of omega-3 fats to help reduce inflammation,” said the nutritionist.
“Supplementation is often required since most of our diets don’t include the necessary dosage.”

The body needs magnesium to turn food into energy, and also to improve bone health.
Between 400 and 500mg of magnesium everyday could get rid of back pain.
“This mineral is sometimes called the ‘relaxation mineral’ because it helps relax muscles and reduce stress.
“Decrease the dosage of magnesium if it causes diarrhoea.”
“Peppermint oil is an effective analgesic that cools inflamed joints and reduces back pain,” said Axe.
“You can mix these oils with coconut oil and rub onto joints or make a homemade muscle rub.”
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) supplements are and anti-inflammatory that’s rich in sulphur.
It could help to rebuild cartilage, and alleviate muscle spasms.
Take between 2,000 and 8,000mg of MSM everyday.
