Ariana Grande, 25, and Pete Davidson, 24, are said to have split and called off their engagement three months after he proposed, according to TMZ.
It’s alleged that the pair are still in love but have realised that it’s not the right time for them to be together, and have ended their romance.
The publication reports that the couple parted ways this weekend following a difficult month for Ariana following the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.
A source told People: “It was way too much too soon.”
No Tears Left To Cry singer Ariana and SNL star Pete confirmed their engagement in July, following a whirlwind romance which began in May.
The couple stepped out together as recently as last week as Pete has been comforting Ariana, after she announced that she was taking some time off following Miller’s death.
OK! Online has contacted representatives for Ariana and Pete for comment.
According to E! Online, Pete forked out a whopping $ 93,000 for the engagement ring for Ariana, after just three weeks of dating and the pair moved into a New York apartment together.
The pair announced their engagement news on Instagram, while E! also report that Ariana revealed Pete’s proposal was “really simple and really sweet.”
