Ant McPartlin has reportedly been arrested by police after allegedly crashing into two cars which resulted in a little girl, thought to be aged three, being taken to hospital.
According to The Mirror, the Saturday Night Takeaway host was whisked away at the scene by officers after he failed to pass a roadside breathalyser test.
Ant, 42, was arrested in Mortlake, South West London, on suspicion of drink driving, and the road was closed after he allegedly lost control of his mini.
It has been reported that his mum Christine and his labrador Hurley were passengers in the car, and they saw him fail the breathalyser test after he hit a maroon BMW and swerved into the other side of the road.
Witness Amy Cassie, 23, told The Mirror: “Ant seemed furious after crashing the car and was shouting at his mum who was also in the car. She was trying to get him to calm down.”
She continued: “The police took him to the back of the police car to remove him from the situation.

“The couple in the green Mini were really shaken up and their child, who was a girl, could only have been about three years old.
“Ant and his mum didn’t seem to have any injuries, but the mum in the green car had split her lip and the side of her face was very red.”
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Police in Richmond were called to Lower Richmond Road, SW14 at 15:59hrs on Sunday, 18 March following reports of a road traffic collision involving three vehicles.
“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended. A number of individuals were treated at the scene for minor injuries only. A child passenger from one of the cars has been taken to hospital for a check up as a precaution.
“A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink-driving after failing a roadside breathalyser test. He has been taken to a south London police station for questioning. Enquiries continue. Roads are expected to reopen shortly.”
At the time of publishing, Ant’s representatives gave “no comment” when contacted by OK! Online.
Ant recently revealed the past 12 months have been “emotional” and “very tricky”, after he picked up three gongs alongside comedy partner Declan Donnelly at the National Television Awards last month.
After heading to rehab to battle his drink and drug addiction, he later announced he was divorcing wife Lisa Armstrong after 11 years together – and the star got incredibly emotional after picking up the awards on-stage during the live show, shedding a tear as he stood by Dec.
Speaking to The Sun after winning an award, Ant said: “I’m emotional, very emotional.
“Because of the last 12 months what I’ve been through, winning this award is particularly emotional for me.”
Saying he was “back in the swing of things,” he added that he was happier than ever to be back at work – but added he might not be attending the National Television Awards again next year, for his health.
He and Lisa sadly announced their divorce following 11 years of marriage just weeks before – and Lisa Armstrong later alluded to the “tough time” she’s had this year in front of her 101k Twitter followers.
