The Anambra State governorship candidate of the Accord Party, Mr Stanley Nkwoka has been unveiled as the running mate of the Progressive Peoples Allaince, PPA governorship candidate, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo.

Nkwoka was yesterday officially unveiled at the campaign office of the governorship candidate of the party.

Ezeemo said he was attracted to the 36-year old social and environmental consultant, Nkwoka because like him, Nkwoka was an entrepreneur, even at his young age, and would be needed for the target to industrialize Anambra State.

He also said that his choice of deputy was informed by the need to give youths a voice in the governance of the state, describing Nkwoka as a accomplished entrepreneur who has proven himself as a survivor and had what it takes to make informed decisions that would reflect the interest the youths.

While speaking with journalists, Nkwoka said that it was an honour for him to be running with Ezeemo.

He said he accepted to run with Ezeemo as against his quest to run as a candidate of Accord party because of what Ezeemo stood for in the state.

He described Ezeemo as the only candidate who has all his investment in the state at a time when political office holders were looting the state and taking them abroad for investment.

“I accepted to join PPA because its philosophy is in consonance with that which accommodates the interest of the masses.

“I see my choice as a gift to the youths and I am poised to make sure all the young people in the state rally round PPA to produce the governor as he would move the state to greater heights,”‎ he said.

Nkwoka is a native of Abetete, Idemili North Local Government area, which falls in the Central zone of the state.
