Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has listed areas the team needs more options as Nigeria prepares for the World in Russia.
Rohr said Nigeria is still a work in progress despite their unbeaten run in the qualifiers.
Rohr’s men ended a successful qualifiers by drawing 1-1 against Algeria in Constantine yesterday despite not playing six players who are considered by the coach as the spine of the team.
He told reporters, ”We are still going to keep working on the team, there are areas we still have concerns and more work to do. Also we open to new players in some areas.
”In defence, attack and also in the midfield, but it’s more of working with those we have now to make it work in the midfield. The best team possible is what we hope to parade in Russia.”
